How to Redeem a Claude Gift Card (Step-by-Step)

A Claude gift card is a single-use code loaded with a fixed value that matches a specific Claude plan — Claude Pro, or Claude Max at the 5× or 20× usage tier. Once you have the code, redeeming it takes only a couple of minutes on claude.ai, under your own Anthropic account. Here’s the full process, start to finish.

Step 1: Buy the gift card with crypto

On our checkout page, pick the Claude plan you want, then choose your payment method — we currently accept Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USDT (TRC-20 and ERC-20), USD Coin (USDC), and Litecoin (LTC). A few details matter at this stage:

• Match the network to the coin. USDT sent on TRC-20 cannot be recovered if the address expected ERC-20, or vice versa. The checkout page tells you exactly which network to use for whichever coin you select.
• Send the exact amount displayed. Crypto prices move constantly, so the checkout locks in a price and a corresponding crypto amount for a short window — sending a different amount can complicate reconciling your order.
• Choose your delivery method. At checkout you can select email delivery, which sends the code straight to your inbox, or a shareable link, which you can open, save, or forward yourself — handy if you’re buying the card as an actual gift for someone else.

Step 2: Wait for blockchain confirmation

After you broadcast payment, our system watches the relevant blockchain for the first confirmation. This typically takes anywhere from a couple of minutes to around thirty minutes, depending on network congestion at the time. You don’t need to refresh anything or take further action — once confirmed, the gift card is generated automatically.

Step 3: Retrieve your gift card code

Depending on the delivery method you chose, your code will either land in your email inbox or be waiting at the shareable link you were given. The code itself is a simple alphanumeric string, along with instructions on where to enter it.

Step 4: Log into your own Claude account

This is the step people occasionally get confused about, so it’s worth stating plainly: you redeem the gift card on your own Anthropic account, and we never see or touch your Claude login. If you don’t already have an account:

1. Go to claude.ai and sign up with your own email address.
2. Verify your account as prompted.
3. Once logged in, navigate to your billing or plan settings.

Step 5: Enter the redemption code

Inside your account’s billing settings, look for the option to redeem a gift card or promotional code. Enter the code exactly as it appears in your email or on the shareable link page — codes are case-sensitive and typically include a mix of letters and numbers. Submit the form, and your account should be upgraded to the matching plan immediately.

Step 6: Confirm your plan is active

After redemption, check your account settings to confirm the new plan shows as active. Claude Pro and Max unlock higher usage limits and access to more capable models compared to the free tier, so you should notice the change immediately in your usage allowance.

What if the code doesn’t work?

This is uncommon, but it can happen if a code has already been redeemed elsewhere or the redemption window has lapsed. If your card is declined, don’t try repeatedly — instead contact [email protected] with your order ID. We’ll verify the code’s redemption status and issue a replacement or refund if the card itself is faulty and hasn’t already been used. Why we only sell gift cards, never accounts

You may come across offers for “Claude accounts for sale” elsewhere — we deliberately don’t do this. Shared or resold accounts violate Anthropic’s terms of service, can be suspended without notice, and hand your data and usage history to someone else entirely.
